Tawny Port This wood-matured tawny port, produced using Time-honoured craftsmanship and generations of experience, was mellowed in seasoned oak casks at our stone-walled lodge, built on the estuary of the Douro river in 1890. Tawny ports are aged in barrels where they develop a golden colour and the associated nutty flavours. A key part of this approach has been the development of its Aged Tawnies where Graham’s has successfully transformed the way in which its wines are presented. It is essential to strike the correct balance between the delicacy and elegance which results from prolonged cask ageing while retaining the fruit quality which lends this old Tawny its structure and longevity. We recommend that you do not rely solely on the information presented here and that you always read labels, warnings, and directions before using or consuming a product.
