Lemmy's influence on the bass line is unmistakable and truly awesome, the diversity between Brainstorm, the title track and Lost Johnny will leave you a little bewildered at first but stick with it, if you don't like this album at the first listening you will find that it will grow on you eventually. Stone Temple Pilots bass player Robert DeLeo names the songs that have most connected with fans and tells the stories behind tracks from their Tiny Music album. El Secreto Del Alfajor, a musical project with a penchant for blending folk and rock influences, presents two captivating tracks from their debut album.

In the summer of 1990, you could get arrested for selling a 2 Live Crew album or performing their songs in Southern Florida. Der Sound wird mit diesen ewig gephaserten und komprimiert klingenden Gitarren allerdings nach einiger Zeit etwas eintönig. George from Vancouver, CanadaSounds like Black Sabbath sampled some of this song's guitar for their Sabbath Bloody Sabbath album. This track presents a lovely take on the well-known song, infusing it with a mellow jazz vibe that showcases Graulund’s musical talent. I have enjoyed this band since the 70's and would say that this is certainly one of their best albums (. The band was formed in 1969 by visionary Dave Brock and although it has been subject to numerous line-up changes it is still led by him. But with these endlessly phasered and compressed electric guitars, the sound gets a bit one-dimensional after some time, actually.

I only bought it because of the cover, but was happily blown away after I'd heard it for the first time. The track’s simplicity and easygoing atmosphere make it an enjoyable addition to the indie music scene. At the time I was very into heavy metal, and I knew Lemmy had been in Hawkwind, I thought the album had an air of mystique about it so bought it. The band was formed by ex-busker and blues man Dave Brock in Ladbroke Grove, London, who intended to marry simple three-chord rock with experimental electronic music.Few picks from their "Space Ritual" double live album, and Lemmy's proto-MOTÖRHEAD song from "The Hall of The Mountain Grill". I'm going to be completely honest, there are a lot of progressive rock bands from the 70's I would rather listen to over Hawkwind, but every now and then I get that itch where I'm in the mood for something really progressive, weird and different. Condition - This item is in Excellent condition or better (unless it says otherwise in the above description).

accurate as a portrait of the band's early period, it does capture the dark and heavy dimension of their sound. Holding the vinyl album cover while 'Master of the Universe' emerged slowly, kicked in and held its hypnotic rhythm I took in the statue-like figure with the Ohm symbol on him (the Master of the Universe? He cites his influences for the band at the time as The Moody Blues, Steve Miller Band and the krautrock scene of Kraftwerk, Neu! This was the first Hawkwind album I ever possessed and it still holds a special place and a certain mystique for me.It is the group's second compilation album, after the previous year's Roadhawks, and was compiled and released without the band's input or approval.
