We very rarely have any leaks with these nappies other than the odd poo explosion which is inevitable. The aldi leaked wee a couple of times but nothing major and definitely not often, literally just a couple of times out of the whole few months she was in that size :) they had a slightly bigger sizing then the morrisons, when my DD grew out of morrisons size 3 she still had room in the aldi for a good few weeks. Our testers were delighted with how much cheaper the Mamia nappies were, with no compromise on quality or comfort. They sent us a 40 pack of their Size 5 (Junior) Ultra Dry nappies and we've been using them through December/January to see what we think. When Bert was smaller, we tried Sainsburys and Tesco's own brand nappies, but found them all to be less absorbent and more likely to leak than the Pampers, so we decided to stick with the branded nappies that seemed to work better for us.

As my daughter is teething she is urinating more frequently and despite changing more regularly these nappies still leak. It features a cute and unisex animal design with the front and back of the nappy easily identified by the drawing of the animal. We at CHOICE acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land on which we work, and pay our respects to the First Nations people of this country. I'm used to the odd leak here and there, even with our usual nappy brand, so the Aldi Mamia range seem to stack up pretty well! The pattern has changed from their brand of size 1 and 2, no wet indicator and a picture of an animal on front and back waistband makes getting the nappy the right way around in a nappy emergency confusing sometimes! I'm not overly keen on how it feels when I change him, the outside papery texture seems to almost stick to my hand when I touch it (think velcro! With this it would be great if they could be packaged in a cardboard box or compostable/recyclable packaging to reduce plastic waste. I found these nappies horrible, they don’t have an elastic waist so are very rubbing with clothes on, the little one was ending up red and Chaffed.

I don't know why it does this but I just try and change him before he "needs " changing to help eliminate this happening too often, bit harder at night time or car journeys though. I had heard a lot about the mamia nappies and thought I'd give them a try and I can honestly say I've never looked back. Only nappies i use and will use on my little boy, They hold loads of pee overnight so i dont wake up to him absolutely soaking in his cot, Only downside ive fund since they changed the way they were made would be the materials around the to of the nappy and the tags that attach it together. My baby also seems to not have an issue with them either and have not experienced any nappy rashes whilst using these. We started off using Tesco nappies with my new daughter as these seemed to be the best around five years ago when i had my first. I like that they are packed tightly into the outer packaging, meaning there is little excess plastic packaging, which is better for the environment. They have a nice bright design, are folded up nice and compact meaning they fit easily into the changing bag, are thick and of good quality, and are easy to use.

These have a cute pattern ok there with the different animal on the front representing the different sizes, these are very absorbent nappies and I have been very happy with them.My daughter sleeps soundly through the night without having to be changed and on the odd occasion she decides to habe a lie in they still keep her dry and comfortable! I have been using Aldi nappies from birth with my little girl and I haven’t found any other brand to compare! The nappies go quite high up at the back which minimises the risk of an explosive poop travelling up there. Aldi Mamia Premium Dry Fast Size 3 nappies are suitable for babies weighing between 4-9kg (9-20 lbs) and are super stretchy.
